"Best of The Best was boring," said Patrons

When the OutAroad.com team and other media houses arrived at the Best of The Best event held in Miami, we were all treated like prisoners as the promoters restricted us from moving freely. The stage was not media friendly because Photographers/videographers were only allowed to shoot the artistes from the left side only. However, shortly after that side profile "luxury" came to an end as the promoters decided not have any photographers or videographers near the stage. Therefore, since there was nothing to capture - the OutAroad.com team decided to capture the views of the patrons listed below.

Loraine aka Lora, Age: 24

This will be my last time attending this show it has nothing to offer. I enjoyed Destra and Beenie Man performances they both represented for their countries. Mavado mi dads mi lose off a yuh, you should have never performed along with the Alliance, Mavado has too much hit songs fi a share mic with Bounty, Serani and Kiprich. Mavado needs to know his true potential and stop acting like he's a child - it's time for him to step out of Bounty's shadow and grow up that Alliance thing not working for him anymore - time fi him start focus on the youths dem from the Gully.

Comar Daley, Age: 20

A Gaza mi seh and will never stop saying Gaza, yow mi can’t wait fi Kartel get back him visa and teach di Alliance how fi work stage shows, Serani, Bounty, Kiprich and Mavado all together couldn’t even mek one. Serani nuh sound good, Bounty songs dem old, Monster Empire were not there for Kiprich to clash wid and Mavado was just not in the mood to perform. Beenie Man should have been the one to close the show, these artistes need to ask Beenie Man what's his secret for giving a good performance.

Camilla Edwards, Age: 26

Personally this show should have named Best of The Worse, mi nah lie some of the artistes apart from Beenie Man tried to entertained but mi never expect Elephant Man fi displayed such a boring performance and then here comes Serani right after Elephant Man who seems to be searching for the right voice to sing his songs, mi love Serani songs but him must know seh the way how yuh dress has a lot to do with connecting with the crowd, so when him ran on pon stage in a stripe polo shirt and waan old pants dat nuh mek it. Beenie Man is really di king of the dancehall because while performing Beenie realized that him never a gwaan wid nothing and then right away him just lift him performance level and done di place, by dissing up Bounty and the Alliance.

Andresen Wilcox, Age: 29

 
The Promoters and organizers better come good next year because mi just not feeling the vibe for no more Best of The Best with a name like that I was expecting everyone to be at their best. You can count di amount a artistes that performed well on one hand, Beenie Man, Destra and even Flippa Maffia come get a hype wid him idiot song but at least him managed fi give a better performance than the Alliance, Mavado it's time for you to go on your own because them only going to hold yuh down.

Yow only one thing mi affi seh thank God that Beenie Man was billed for the show because mi nuh kno what would a happen because people fly all di way from Jamaica to come watch a boring concert. Di Alliance get di chance fi close di show but them never gwaan wid nothing dem let mi down I think it's time for a change from Alliance to Gaza, mi serious di man dem let mi down star.

This is my first time but I can definitely tell that this is the worse show I have been to since the start of the year, I am very disappointed with most of the artiste's performances. Up to now mi still can't believe it because the stage timing was good, band changing was quick but none of the those who performed did anything spectacular except for Beenie Man.
